Prof. Martin Nowak
Harvard University, USA
Martin Nowak is presently a professor of mathematical biology at
Harvard University since 2003 and Director of the Haravad’s Program for Evolutionary Dynamics. He is one of the leading researchers in
the field that studies the role of cooperation in evolution. In 1989, he earned his doctorate in biochemistry and mathematics from the
University of Vienna with thesis on quasispecies theory and evolution of cooperation. From 1989-1998, he was Erwin Schrodinger Postdoctoral
Scholar at University of Oxford. He held professorships at University of Oxford and IAs, Princeton before moving to Harvard in 2003.
His research interests include evolution of cooperation, evolution of language, evolutionary game theory and graph theory, somatic
evolution of cancer, the dynamics of viruses and infectious diseases, pre-life and origins of life.
He is famous for his proposal and works in showing evolution requires third component called “cooperation” inaddition to the classical
components of mutation and natural selection. Among his major discoveries are the mechanism of HIV disease progression, the first
mathematical approach for studying the evolution of human language, the first quantification of the in vivo kinetics of human cancer
and the five rules for the evolution of cooperation. He has published over 300 papers in world’s leading scientific journals including
several in Nature and Science. He is a highly cited researcher with an h-index of 159. He authored many well-received books including
Virus Dynamics (2000); Evolutionary Dynamics (2006); Super Cooperators (2011) and Evolution, Games & God (2013). He is a corresponding
member of the Austrian Academy of Sciences. For his outstanding works, he received several international recognitions including Oxford’s
Weldon Memorial Prize; the Albert Wander Prize of University of Bern; the Akira Okabo Prize of the Society for Mathematical Biology; the
David Starr Jordan Prize jointly awarded by Oxford, Cornell and Indiana Universities and the Henry Dale Prize of the Royal Institution of
London.
Prof. Gerald Schroeder

Prof. Gerald Schroeder is presently a lecturer at Aish Hatorah College of
Jewish studies, Israel. He is an applied physicist and applied theologian. He received his B. Sc in Chemical Engineering in 1959 and M. Sc
in Earth and Planetary Sciences in 1961 from Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). In 1965, he earned his Ph.D. in nuclear physics and
Earth & Planetary sciences under Prof. Robley D. Evans from MIT. After that for five years he worked as a staff in the MIT physics department.
In 1971, he moved to Weizmann Institute of Science, Israel and then to the Volcani Research Institute, also having a laboratory at the Hebrew
University.
He worked as a consultant in the U.S. Atomic Energy Commission and many other agencies of the governments of Philippines, Malaysia, Singapore
and Canada. Inaddition, for over 25 years, he has also pursued a study of ancient biblical interpretation and frequently writes and lectures
on the extraordinary confluence of modern science and ancient biblical commentary. His scientific works includes in the area of nuclear weapons
disarmament and radiation control in uranium mines. Within this research, he invented and had patented the first real time monitor for airborne
alpha beta gamma emitters. He has over 60 publications in internationally renowned journals including in science. He authored several bestselling
books including Genesis and the Big Bang (1990); The Science of God (1997); The Hidden face of God (2002) and God according to God (2009). His
books appear in over 11 languages.
Dr. Harold Koenig
Duke University, USA
Dr. Koenig is a Professor of Psychiatry and an Associate Professor of Medicine at Duke University Medical Center. He is also a Senior Fellow in the Center for the Study of Aging and Human Development. He completed his undergraduate education at Stanford University, his medical school training at the University of California at San Francisco, and his geriatric medicine, psychiatry, and biostatistics training at Duke University. He is board certified in general psychiatry, and formerly boarded in family medicine, geriatric medicine, and geriatric psychiatry. He is also an Adjunct Professor in the Department of Medicine at King Abdulaziz University, Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, and is Adjunct Professor in the School of Public Health at Ningxia Medical University, Yinchuan, China. In addition, he is a Visiting Professor at Shiraz University of Medical Sciences in Shiraz, Iran. Dr. Koenig has over 550 scientific peer-reviewed academic publications, nearly 100 book chapters, and 55 books to his credit. He is the recipient of the 2012 Oskar Pfister Award from the American Psychiatric Association and the 2013 Gary Collins award from the American Association of Christian Counselors. He is the former editor-in-chief of the International Journal of Psychiatry in Medicine, and is the currently an Associate Editor of the Journal of Religion and Health. His research has been featured on many national and international TV programs (including ABC’s World News Tonight, The Today Show, Good Morning America, Dr. Oz Show, NBC Nightly News) and hundreds of national and international radio programs and newspapers/magazines (including Reader’s Digest, Parade Magazine, Newsweek, Time). Dr. Koenig has also given testimony before the U.S. Senate (1998) and U.S. House of Representatives (2008) concerning the benefits of religious involvement on public health. Finally, Dr. Koenig is the lead author of the Handbook of Religion and Health, 3rd edition (2021-2022, forthcoming, with professors Tyler VanderWeele (TH Chan School of Public Health at Harvard University) and John Raymond Peteet (Department of Psychiatry at Harvard).
Prof. Vijay Bhatkar
Nalanda University
Dr. Vijay Bhatkar is one of most acclaimed and internationally acknowledged scientists of India. He is
presently the
Chancellor of Nalanda University. In this responsibility, he has committed himself to resurrecting the
glory of ancient
Nalanda, in the context of 21st century. Prior to Nalanda responsibility, he was the Chairman of Board of
Governors of
IIT Delhi from 2012 to 2017. He is best known as the architect of India’s national initiative in
supercomputing, where
he led the development of India’s first supercomputer Param in 1990, under the technology denial regime.
Currently he is
steering the National Supercomputing Mission of developing Exascale Architecture Supercomputing for India.
Dr. Bhatkar
is also widely known for bringing ICT to the masses through a wide range of path-breaking initiatives,
such as the
celebrated GIST multilingual technology covering India’s 22 official languages with 10 diverse scripts
that has
dissolved the language barrier on computers once for all; MKCL’s computer literacy programme that made a
world mark by
creating 10 million computer literates within a decade; Education to Home (ETH) initiative for bringing
the benefits of
ICT to school education. In the 80’s, Dr Bhatkar substantially contributed to the ushering of electronics
revolution in
India. He is also credited with the creation of several national research labs and institutions, notably
amongst them
being C-DAC, ER&DC Trivandrum, IIITM-K, TechnoPark, MKCL, IsquareIT, ETH Research Lab and Multiversity.
Simultaneously,
he has mentored several innovation-based start-ups.
Dr. Bhatkar has served as a member of the Scientific Advisory Committee to PM, Member of the Governing
Council of CSIR
and a member of the IT Task Force constituted by PM in 1998. He is a Life Fellow of IEEE (USA) and Fellow
of ACM (USA),
besides being Fellow of CSI, INAE, IETE, NASI, MASc and GES. He has served as the Chairman of e-Governance
Committees of
Maharashtra and Goa. Dr. Bhatkar has authored/edited over 12 books and 80 technical and research papers
and addressed
several university convocations, international and national conferences and conventions and public
functions. His
ground-breaking articulations have been widely covered by both print and broadcast media. His current
research interests
are in supercomputing, artificial intelligence, brain-mind-consciousness, and synthesis of science and
spirituality.
Dr. Bhatkar was conferred with Krishi Bharat Ratna Award in 2017, Padma Bhushan Award in 2015, Padma Shri
Award in 2000,
Maharashtra Bhushan Award of 1999-2000. He is the recipient of the prestigious Jindal Prize 2012 for
science and
technology in the service of society. He was conferred with the Saint Jnaneshawar World Peace Prize 2010
by World Peace
Centre. He was also nominated to the Petersberg Prize 2004 and was conferred with the prestigious

Dr. B N Gangadhar

B.N. Gangadhar, MD, is a professor of psychiatry at the National Institute of Mental Health and NeuroSciences (NIMHANS), where he heads the Advanced Center for Yoga. He has served with NIMHANS since 1981, and has special interest in somatic therapies, yoga, schizophrenia, and community mental health. medal by the Association of Indian Management Schools for securing the prestigious “AIMS-

Prof. Manoranjan Sinha
IIT Kharagpur, India
Dr. Manoranjan Sinha is a Professor at IIT Kharagpur in the Department of Aerospace Engineering. Dr. Sinha received his B.Tech degree from IIT Delhi in 1993 and subsequently received M. Tech and Ph.D. degrees in aerospace engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur, India, in 2001. In the following years he worked as Post Doctoral Fellow in the area of neural networks at the University of Saskatchewan, Canada under the supervision of Prof. Madan M. Gupta, and as an Assistant Professor at Birla Institute of Technology, Pilani and IIT Mumbai Dept. of Aerospace Engineering. He joined the Department of Aerospace Engineering, IIT Kharagpur in 2004. His research fields are neural networks, system identification, controls, flight dynamics, system health monitoring, vibration control, attitude dynamics, and formation flying. He is involved with the lunar satellite orbit determination, lunar gravity and topography modeling for chandrayan Mission - I of ISRO. He is also working on reconfigurable flight control. He is also interested in integrative cosmology from Scientific and Vedantic perspectives.
Prof. Devendra Mohan

Devendra Mohan passed the High School and Intermediate examinations from the Board of Secondary Education (Madhyamik
Shiksha Parikshad), Uttar Pradesh in the First Class with Honours in 1981 and 1983 respectively. Subsequently, he
qualified the prestigious Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) conducted at that time for admission to the five Indian
Institutes of Technology along with the Institute of Technology, Banaras Hindu University, Varanasi. He opted for
Bachelor of Technology Program in Civil Engineering at Institute of Technology, Banaras Hindu University, Varanasi and
obtained his B. Tech. Degree in 1987. After qualifying Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE), he completed Master
of Technology Program in Civil (Environmental) Engineering in 1989 from the same premier Institution. Afterwards, he
completed the Ph. D. Degree from the same University. The work for the doctoral research focused on control of carbon
monoxide in automobile exhaust using low cost base metal catalysts.
Devendra Mohan has an extensive, diverse and rich experience in teaching, research and testing and consultancy for more
than three decades. He has supervised six Ph. D. thesis and about four dozens of post graduate (M. Tech.) dissertations.
To his credit, he has more than one hundred research papers/articles in reputed international and national journals
published by ASCE, Elsevier, Springer, Taylor & Francis, Royal Society, IWA, Institution of Engineers (India), Tata
Energy Research Institute, Central Ground Water Board (India), Indian Archeological Society etc. and those in
proceedings of different seminars, symposia, workshops, conferences, courses etc. organized at international and
national levels. He has conducted more than a dozen of events like seminars, conferences etc. in the capacities of prime
responsibility as Convener/Co-convener and Organizing/Joint Organizing Secretary. Recently, he has been Convener of an
interdisciplinary course on Water and Wastewater Treatment. He has also been frequently invited to deliver Key-Note
Lectures, Expert Lectures and also to chair/co-chair Technical Sessions in a number of prestigious events organized at
different levels.
Devendra Mohan has authored more than twenty five chapters in different books, published by reputed publishers including
Springer-Nature. He had also prepared reading materials in certain areas of Environmental Engineering for some
universities in India as well as abroad. In capacity of the Course Coordinator, he has conducted four Orientation
Courses in Information Technology, One Refresher Course in Environmental Science and another one in Environmental
Studies and two Refresher Courses related to the Life and Works of Mahamana Madan Mohan Malaviya ji at the University
Grants Commission - Human Resources Development Center (erstwhile known as the Academic Staff College), Banaras Hindu
University, Varanasi. He has also edited the Proceedings of all these eleven courses as well as souvenirs and
proceedings of some other events. He has presented more than seven dozens of Invited lecture-cum-discussion sessions at
various UGC - HRDCs across the country.
In addition to his activities related to the core technical domain, in the form of extension or outreach services, he
has conducted a number of lectures and demonstration-sessions at different occasions during the Farmers’ Meet as well as
at the time of many internationally recognized events like Earth Day, World Water Day, World Environment Day etc. on
invitation from distinguished institutions like the Temple of Understanding, International Arya Pratinidhi Sabha,
Society for Prevention of Cruelty to Animals, Rotary Club and Inner Wheel Club, Lions’ Club etc. before the audience
having divergent and multidisciplinary interests. On invitation, he has also served various prominent industrial
organizations like Northern Coalfields Limited, South Eastern Coalfields Limited, Coal Mine Planning and Design
Institute, Uttar Pradesh Jal Nigam etc. by making presentations in various programs organized for training and
competence development of their field engineers, managers and planners.
Devendra Mohan has also been actively involved with the alumni affairs related to the Banaras Hindu University and
Indian Institute of Technology (Banaras Hindu University) Varanasi. He was member of the committee constituted for
establishment of the Institute of Environment and Sustainable Development and Mahamana Malaviya Research Centre for
Ganga, River Development and Water Resources Management at Banaras Hindu University. He is Vice-President of the Ganga
Mahasabha, which was established by Revered Mahamana Madan Mohan Malaviya ji more than a century ago to save the Holy
River Ganga. He has served in capacity of the Head, Civil Engineering Department, IIT (BHU) Varanasi from January 01,
2013 to March 13, 2016. At present, he is working as Professor, Civil Engineering Department, IIT (BHU) and his main
research interests include control of trace toxins like arsenic and fluoride, microbiological treatment of water and
wastewater, climate change, air pollution control and environmental ethics.
Prof. Rima Dada
AIIMS, Delhi
Prof. Rima Dada is currently serving as a Professor in the Department of Anatomy, at AIIMS, New Delhi. Prof. Rima did her MBBS from Delhi University at Maulana Azad Medical College. Thereafter, she joined the MD program in Anatomy at the University College of Medical Sciences, again under Delhi University. She completed her Senior Residency and her Ph.D. studies in Genetics at AIIMS, New Delhi. Later, she joined AIIMS as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Anatomy and now serving as the Professor. Her teaching and working areas include both cytogenetic and molecular techniques used for the analysis of various genetic disorders eg- Reproductive disorders (premature ovarian failure, Recurrent spontaneous abortion, various endocrinal disorders, infertility, congenital malformations, Glaucoma, Congenital cataract, BPES, Retinoblastoma, and various hematological disorders and cancers. Also offering Sperm DNA damage and seminal ROS assessment facility to couples with idiopathic infertility and cases with recurrent ART failure. Her research interests include the Genetics of reproductive disorders, ocular disorders, and various childhood cancers. And also studying the impact of lifestyle interventions on markers of aging. Prof. Rima Dada is on the editorial board of several national and international journals and member of various scientific bodies. She has been awarded several prestigious National and International Awards and also has several International and National indexed papers and book chapters to her credit.

Dr Bhakti Devi is trained as Civil & Environmental Engineer along with a PhD in Urban Water. Dr Bhakti has spent 25 years of her active working career in the water & sustainability industry in Australia. She is a global expert on user-led water conservation which is the future of water in cities. She has worked as Decentralised Water Strategist for City of Sydney & Sydney Water Corporation. Examples of the programs she has led & executed include: 1) Decentralised Water Master Plan for City of Sydney that triggered several innovative & Award Winning water programs & projects including Smart Green Apartments , Stormwater Harvesting @ Sydney Park , Raingarden Integration into Road & Footpath Renewals to name a few. 2) Award winning Water Conservation Program for Businesses & Offices informed by Water Auditing of several types of Water End Using Sectors. Dr Bhakti has recently relocated to India with a vision to create a water secure & water sustainable Urban India. She has founded Urban Water Doctor whose mission is to empower & enable water users in recreating their water systems so they reduce their dependence on water tankers by 50 to 100%. Since relocating to Bangalore in 2018, ● She has designed, tested & validated a Water Diagnostic & Solution Planning service that helps water users to transform their existing water-stressed properties in cities & towns to become sustainably water sufficient. This is based on a survey of 100+ Apartment Communities, 20+ solution providers & comprehensive assessment of 25 Apartment complexes in Bangalore. ● She has designed training modules on Urban Water Literacy & Urban Water Accountability that need to be urgently scaled across all cities and towns of India.
Prof. Ramgopal Uppaluri

Prof. Ramagopal Uppaluri is presently a professor at Chemical Engineering department, IIT Guwahati. He received PhD from University of Manchester, England majoring in process systems engineering and optimization. Prior to this he received Masters in Chemical Engineering from IIT Kanpur. He has variegated research interests in chemical and process engineering, major being in process systems engineering and composite inorganic membrane technology. Prof. Uppaluri also works on enhanced oil recovery, heat exchanger networks, bio-systems engineering, techno-economic analysis and electroless plating. So far, he has executed about 5 consultancy and 3 sponsored projects. He has published about 24 publications in international peer reviewed journals and filed an Indian patent in the field of enhanced oil recovery. He has previously served many administrative positions at IIT Guwahati including Chairman, Technical Board (2005-2008) and Vice-Chairman, GATE & JAM examinations (2007). His research interest also includes the field of science-spirituality synthesis specifically towards Origin of Life and Consciousness Studies
Prof. P. K. Singh

Prof P K Singh is currently serving as the Head of the Department of Civil Engineering, Indian Institute of Technology (BHU), Varanasi. He received his B.Sc in Civil Engineering in 1986 from Aligarh Muslim University (AMU), Aligarh and M.Sc in Environmental Engineering in 1988 from University of Roorkee (UOR), Roorkee. In the year 2000, he earned his Ph.D. in Civil Engineering from Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Kanpur. He worked as an Assistant Engineer for a period of seventeen years in the Water Resources Department, Government of Bihar till June, 2004. After which he joined in Department of Civil Engineering, IT (BHU) Varanasi and currently serving as Professor & Head of the Department there. His major research areas include solid waste management, and water treatment. Prof P K Singh is having more than 40 publications at National and International level to his credit. He had been handling various research projects summing up to one crore rupees funded by Department of Science and Technology (DST), GOI; Ministry of Human Resource Development, GOI; National Environmental Engineering Research Institute (NEERI) Nagpur from Ministry of Water Resources, River Development & Ganga Rejuvenation etc.
Dr. Jayanti Chavan

Dr. Jayanti Ranganathan Chavan is the founder President of Institute of Science and Religion, Navi
Mumbai. She is an alumnus of the University of Mumbai, Maharashtra.
She is a recipient of two open merit scholarships for her UG studies(Mathematics) from University of
Mumbai. Her academic background has a rare blend of Mathematics, computer applications,
philosophy, and religion with a doctorate in Philosophy.
She serves as a course curriculum consultant for Science and Spirituality Interface (Human Growth and
Societal cause) and Inter-religious studies (Peace and Harmony) and student counsellor for Inclusive-
Holistic Education and Mental Healthcare.
She is a recipient of HEF(Higher Education Forum) Best Teacher's award-2018 for Social service in
education. She is also an active member of Higher Education Forum. She is also a life member of
Indian Women Scientists' Association.
Formerly she served in industry (software programmer) and academics for 10 years.
For six years, she actively headed the computer department at St. Xavier's Technical Institute (XTECH),
Mumbai. She was responsible for the all round development of computer centre. Simultaneously she
was also active with the BTE(Board of Technical Education, Maharasthra, now MSBTE) as a member
of syllabus committee, paper-setter and officer-in-charge for computer subjects. She was also
responsible to a large measure to the change of syllabus of Government computer courses during her
time. She has designed, organized and conducted special short term training technical courses in
computer subjects. During this period she was also sponsored by the college to attend varied training
programs short term and long term(outstation based) organized by leading institutions like IEEE,
DOEAAC, CSI, NCST to name a few. She was highly respected both in Government circles and the
college for the quality of her work.
She has been practicing spirituality for four decades (since youth) and has delivered lectures/seminars
in India/abroad on the relevance of synthesis of science and spirituality for contemporary times.
As one of Dr. T.D. Singh's dear student, she was highly inspired by his significant contributions to the
intellectual community through the synthesis of Science and Spirituality. After receiving direct
guidance and serving his mission for a decade, he appointed her as Founder President of the Institute of
Science and Religion, Navi Mumbai in 2005. Besides, he gave her other responsibilities for BI mission.
For almost a decade, as part of Institute outreach, she has organized more than 30 workshops/seminars
and participated in more than 40 national and international conferences, presented more than 35
papers and more than 25 have been published. She has also organized for the student community two
regional conferences and few seminars with leading academic institutions on Health and Environment
related themes. Besides she served as the chairman of a unique 2-day national conference with
University of Mumbai on 'Science and Spirituality in the age of Technology' covering domains of
Education, Human Values, Science, Technology, Environment and Health.
She has also authored and edited few books in these areas.
Her major researches are in the broad domain of Science and Spirituality interface for the benefit of
academic community and mankind as well as in Consciousness studies from Philosophy-Vedanta
perspective. She continues to nurture her research interest through varied platforms like presenting
papers in conferences, writing in journals and participating in internationally renowned academic and
research social network sites dedicated exclusively for researchers where some of her works are also
cited.
Dr. Hare Krishna Mohanta

Dr. Hare Krishna Mohanta is an Associate Professor in the Department of Chemical Engineering in BITS Pilani, Rajasthan. He has been teaching in BITS Pilani since 1998. He worked in Indian Rare Earths Ltd (A Govt of India Undertaking) during 1995-1996. He obtained his B.E. (Chemical Engineering) in 1995 from NIT Rourkela, M.Tech (Chemical Engineering) in 1998 from IIT Kanpur, and Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering in 2006 from BITS Pilani. He is a Life Associate Member of Indian Institute of Chemical Engineers(IIChE). He has several publications in international and national journals. His areas of research include Advanced Process Control, Process Monitoring and Control, Sensors and Microreactors, Catalysis and Pyrolysis, Applied Wavelet Analysis, Reactive Distillation, Modeling and Simulation and Consciousness Studies.
