Prof. Martin A. Nowak is a distinguished Professor of Mathematics and Biology at Harvard University and the founding Director of its Program for Evolutionary Dynamics. He is internationally recognized for pioneering work at the intersection of mathematics, biology, and the study of complex systems. His research explores how cooperation and competition shape evolution, offering deep insights into the mechanisms that govern biological and social behavior.
Over his career, Prof. Nowak has contributed groundbreaking theories in evolutionary game theory, virus dynamics, cancer progression, and infectious disease modeling, including major advances in HIV research. He is the author of several influential books and more than 400 scientific papers, shaping modern understanding of how mathematical principles can illuminate the fundamental processes of life and evolution.
Prof. Sudipto Ghosh
IIT Kharagpur, India
Dr. Sudipto Ghosh is with the Department of Metallurgical and Materials Engineering, Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur. He works in the area of mathematical modeling of materials processes, particularly solidification processes. Dr. Ghosh did his B.Tech., M.Tech. and Ph.D. from IIT Kanpur and worked at Tata Research Development and Design Pune before joining IIT Kharagpur. He was trained in science and spirituality by Srila Bhaktisvarupa Damodara Swami (Dr. T. D. Singh) who is internationally renowned for his contribution in the field of Science, Spirituality and World Peace.
Dr. Prabhat Kumar Singh
IIT (BHU) Varanasi, India
Dr. Prabhat Kumar Singh is a Professor in the Department of Civil Engineering at the Indian Institute of Technology (BHU) Varanasi. With academic training from IIT Kanpur, IIT Roorkee (formerly University of Roorkee), and Aligarh Muslim University, he has over three decades of expertise in environmental engineering and civil infrastructure. He has also served as Head of the Department of Civil Engineering, contributing significantly to academic leadership and program development.
His research focuses on drinking water quality, addressing contamination from arsenic, fluoride, nitrate, and emerging pollutants, as well as river health assessment, sediment contamination, and water resource management. He works extensively on environmental decision support systems, solid waste management, and sustainable smart city planning, providing solutions that blend scientific innovation with practical applications for environmental protection and urban development.
Varun Agarwal
Alumnus IIT Kanpur
Shri Varun Agarwal (also known as His Holiness Bhaktisvarupa Vrajendrakumar Swami), an alumnus of Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur (IIT Kanpur, 1999, Aerospace Engg.), is currently the Director of the Bhaktivedanta Institute, Kolkata, India (Founded by illustrious scientist-saint, Dr. T. D. Singh, also known as His Holiness Bhaktisvarupa Damodara Swami) and works actively in the Foundations of Science and its possible relation with spirituality. His search for deeper meaning of life culminated in meeting and taking personal guidance of Dr. T. D. Singh which completely changed his life and he later dedicated himself for the cause of selflessly helping humanity.
He is the Editor of many publications on science and spirituality as well as of the Bhaktivedanta Institute’s reputed annual science-spirituality journal, Savijnanam – Scientific Exploration for a Spiritual Paradigm and travels widely across India and abroad. His deep interest in the Foundations of mathematics and its relation to nature of reality as well as ancient Indian texts led him to interact and meet renowned scholars at Harvard, Princeton, ETH, Stanford, and MIT. He has interacted with many renowned mathematicians and himself has given numerous talks on foundations of science, mathematics and spirituality.

Vasudeva Rao

Shri K Vasudeva Rao (also known as His Holiness Bhaktisvarupa Vrajapati Swami), an alumnus of prestigious institute, IIT Kanpur (Computer Science, 1998), is currently the President of the Bhaktivedanta Institute, Kolkata. He is also the Editor of Bhaktivedanta Institute’s reputed annual journal, Savijnanam – Scientific Exploration for a Spiritual Paradigm and travels widely across India and abroad. His deep interest in the Foundations of mathematics, fundamentals of computer science and Logic and its relation to nature of reality as well as ancient Indian texts led him to interact and meet renowned scholars at Harvard, Princeton, Stanford, and MIT.
He has delivered numerous talks on computer science and spirituality. Under his guidance and supervision, more than 10 national conferences, 2 International conferences, over 200 papers and over 100 seminars and workshops on science and spirituality have been organized by the Institute in past decade which includes contributions from more than 20 Nobel Laureates and world-renowned scholars.
