The Dr. T. D. Singh Book Reading Club is pleased to announce a contest, continuing our tradition of organizing reflective academic activities upon the completion of the study of one of our publications.
For this season, we studied the book “Life and Origin of the Universe” by Dr. T. D. Singh.
Contest Format:
– The contest will culminate in an on-the-spot oral viva round, evaluated by qualified judges.
– Prior to the final round, finalists will be shortlisted through a pre-contest written round.
– Complimentary prizes will be awarded to the finalists.
Pre-Contest Round: Written Submission
Participants are required to submit a written summary essay on any one of the following chapters from the book:
1. Human Life and the Evolution of Consciousness
2. A Glimpse of the Origin of the Universe
Submission Guidelines:
a) Minimum length: 1000 words
b) Use of illustrations and images will enhance evaluation
c) Submissions must be original and not AI-generated (verification tools will be used)
d) Submission deadline: 31st December 2025
