Guidelines for Participants

Thank you for your continued interest in our upcoming Nobel Laureate Lecture by Prof. William D. Phillips on Science and Spirituality, scheduled on 10 January 2024 | 07:00 pm IST.

Please go through & follow the below mentioned guidelines for your smooth participation in the Lecture.

General Guidelines:

  1. All participants are advised to use a good internet connection for a better experience.
  2. Program will be streamed LIVE through the Zoom platform.
  3. Zoom meeting details will be shared on 09 January 2024 via email to you. For joining the meeting click the link provided or use the provided Meeting ID and Passcode.
  4. Please check the joining guidelines provided below, if you are new or not so familiar with Zoom.
  5. In case of any joining issues, please contact our technical support team @ +91 – 7569865357 & +91 – 9297256712 by WhatsApp.
  6. Please join the meeting on time i.e., @ 07:00 pm IST to follow the important announcements regarding the Interactive session and other proceedings of the Lecture.
  7. Join the session using your name along with the registration number provided. (Eg: NLL005 – Goapl)

  9. After the Lecture, a Q&A session will be organized, for which guidelines are provided below.

Q&A Session Guidelines:

  1. The Q&A session will start as soon as the Lecture is finished, during which the distinguished speaker will answer the questions asked by participants.
  2. For smooth functioning of the program, all questions will be taken through the google form link to be shared with all participants on 09 January 2024.
  3. Participants can send the questions anytime before, during or just after the Lecture.
  4. Participants can ask multiple questions through multiple submissions of the same form.
  5. Questions received will be shortlisted and addressed during the Q&A session, to the extent possible within the scheduled time.
  6. Make sure that your questions are concise and to the point.

Zoom Joining Guidelines:

  1. Please click on the Zoom meeting link provided to join the meeting.

1.1. Open Zoom in your device (laptop/tablet/pc/mobile) https://zoom.us 
1.2. In case Zoom is installed in your device, login to the zoom for better experience.
1.3. Click on “Join”.
1.4. Fill in the provided Meeting ID and Passcode.
1.5. Click on Join the meeting.

  1. Please click on “Join Audio”.
