This was one of the unique conference on “Science, Religion and World Peace” organized by the Bhaktivedanta Institute Karnal. We are delighted to have an opportunity to host the conference at Dharamshala, Himachal Pradesh. The word ‘Dharamshala’ may be adequately translated as ‘a sanctuary for spiritual seekers’. In fact, both scientists and spiritualists are seekers of the truth exploring different aspects of Reality. Thus, the serene atmosphere of this venue was indeed advantageous to the participants to discuss, learn and exchange thoughts about ways in which global peace and harmony can be strengthened by integration of science and spirituality.
